Everything you need to know
YOUR FIRST VISIT
-
Welcome to the ROOM. You can start wherever feels right for you — Hot Mat, Reformer or Recovery.
If you’re newer to Pilates or yoga, let your instructor know when you arrive. Our team will help you get set up, walk you through the space and offer modifications throughout class so you can move at your own pace.
-
For your first class, we recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you have time to check in, get familiar with the studio and settle into your space.
For future visits, aim to arrive at least 5–10 minutes before class.
-
For movement classes, bring a water bottle and come dressed in something you feel comfortable moving in.
For Reformer, grip socks are required for both safety and hygiene.
For Recovery and Contrast Therapy, bring clean swimwear. Towels are provided, so we’ll take care of the rest.
-
No. Mats and props are provided for all Hot Mat classes.
You’ll just need to bring a mat towel to place over your mat during class. Forgot yours? Mat towels are also available to rent at the studio for $3.
-
Wear breathable, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
For Hot Mat, lightweight, sweat-friendly pieces are best. For Reformer, fitted clothing can make it easier for your instructor to see your alignment, and grip socks are required.
For Recovery, clean swimwear is required when using our sauna and cold plunge.
Swimsuits, swim trunks, swim shorts and swim-appropriate tops are welcome. Underwear, street clothing, regular workout clothing and transparent garments are not permitted in the Recovery space.
For the comfort and hygiene of everyone in the ROOM, please arrive with clean swimwear and shower before entering the cold plunge. We also ask that you avoid applying lotions, oils or heavily scented products before your session.
MOVEMENT CLASSES
-
Our Hot Mat classes bring Pilates, yoga and strength-based movement into our signature 38° room.
Depending on the class, expect anything from controlled sculpt work and deep core activation to higher-intensity intervals or a slower vinyasa flow.
Every class has its own energy. The heat is the constant.
-
Our Reformer classes are small-format, intentional sessions designed around strength, control, mobility and precision.
With fewer people in the room, instructors can offer more individual attention while still giving you the energy of a group class.
-
Yes. Many of our classes can be adapted for different experience levels, and instructors will provide options and modifications throughout class.
Some classes may move faster or be designed for more experienced clients, so we recommend checking the individual class description when booking.
-
Each class on our schedule includes a description outlining the format, intensity and style so you know what to expect before booking.
Still unsure? Ask us. We’re happy to point you toward the best place to start.
-
Yes, but listen to your body.
Stay hydrated before and after class, take breaks whenever you need them and let your instructor know if it’s your first heated class.
Hot Mat classes are not recommended during pregnancy due to the elevated room temperature and risk of overheating. If you are pregnant, we recommend choosing a non-heated movement option and consulting with your healthcare provider about the type of exercise that is appropriate for you.
-
ROOM38 was designed around the idea that wellness extends beyond the workout.
Our Recovery space brings together experiences such as sauna and cold plunge to help you create a more complete movement and recovery ritual.
-
Yes. Recovery sessions have limited capacity and should be reserved in advance.
Depending on your membership, Recovery may be included, available as an add-on or booked separately.
-
Bring a swimsuit and anything you personally like to use after a sauna or plunge session.
We’ll provide more detailed instructions with your booking so you know exactly what to expect before arriving.
RECOVERY
POLICIES
-
We know plans change.
Classes can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of class start time are considered late cancellations. Members on a monthly membership will be charged a $15 late cancellation fee, while guests using a class pack or class credit will forfeit the credit used for that booking.
No shows will incur a $20 fee for unlimited members. Guests using a class pack or class credit will forfeit the credit used for that booking.
-
To protect the experience and safety of everyone in class, we recommend arriving before the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals will not be admitted to avoid disrupting the flow and to ensure the safety of guests near the door.
Late arrivals who are unable to join class will be subject to our no-show policy, including a $20 fee for unlimited members or forfeiture of a class credit for credit-based bookings.
-
A mat towel is required for all Hot Mat classes.
You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat towel from home, or rent one from the studio for $3. For safety and hygiene, regular bath or hand towels cannot be used in place of a yoga mat towel.
Mats and props are provided by ROOM38.
-
Grip socks are required for all Reformer classes for both safety and hygiene.
Please bring your own pair or purchase a pair at the studio before class. Regular socks or bare feet are not permitted on the reformers.
-
We love a ROOM38 moment, but once class begins, it’s time to be in the ROOM.
Phones should be silenced and put away for the duration of class. Photography and filming are welcome before or after class in designated areas, but filming during class is not permitted.
Please be mindful of the privacy of other guests and avoid photographing or filming anyone without their permission.
-
To be determined
-
Memberships purchased before ROOM38 opens will activate on our official opening date. Your initial payment covers your first month, and your next payment will be processed one month after activation.
Memberships purchased after opening will activate on date of purchase.
-
All monthly memberships require a minimum three-month commitment, after which your membership continues on a month-to-month basis until cancelled.
Any approved membership freezes will pause your commitment period, meaning your remaining commitment resumes when your membership reactivates.
-
Memberships may be frozen for up to 90 consecutive days at a time. Following each freeze, your membership must remain active for at least one full paid billing cycle before another freeze can be requested.
During your freeze, recurring billing and membership access are paused.
-
You can request to upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time. Upgrades and downgrades generally take effect at your next billing cycle.
Please note that founding prices can only be retained while applicable founding tiers remain available.
-
We’re sorry to see you go! You can cancel your membership by giving us at least 30 days’ written notice.
If another billing cycle falls within your 30 day notice period, that payment will still be processed, and your membership will remain active through that paid billing cycle.
Once your membership is cancelled, access to membership benefits ends at the conclusion of your paid membership period.
Please note that cancelling a Founding Membership permanently forfeits your founding rate and associated benefits. Any future membership purchase will be subject to the pricing and options available at that time.
